Your Video

Why have a wedding film professionally made?
No wedding would be complete without a set of photographs, In addition, a wedding video captures the sounds as well as the sights of the day. The vows, the music, the speaches, the tears and the laughter.

Many people now own video cameras and it may be that you ask a friend or relative to record your wedding. However, results vary and to be sure of a quality result it is worth asking a someone with experience to produce the record of your special day.

Something different
Most of our customers want a traditional documentary style production, However, if you would like something a bit different we can accomodate this. Perhaps a viewpoint as a wedding guest, interviews or good luck messages from the wedding guests. Some videos feature a photo history of the couple with a photo sequence showing the progress from childhood to the present day.

Filming
All our cameras are small and unobtrusive but give very high quality pictures. The entire production process from camera to finished DVD is digital. During the service we use two cameras. Usually we place a camera infront of the couple and one fixed camera at the rear of the venue gives an alternative viewpoint and makes the finished production more polished. Many homes now use widescreen TVs and your film can be shot in this way.

As well as great pictures it is important to get the sound right. We use a rifle mic to pick up distant sounds and radio mics ensure the vows and speaches are clearly recorded.

Editing & DVD
As well as carefully crafted one hour video, we include a short five minute 'highlights' film to show to those who may not want to sit through the full version. The film is copied onto a DVD with custom menus and chapter markers, so you can quickly skip to a favourite scene.

We offer a pack of 10 DVDs of the 5 minute "highlights" film which can be sent out to special guests or those unable to attend as a lasting reminder of the day. Or you can have the highlights film posted on the internet so any of your friends can watch, wherever they may be in the world.

Your video will be edited in a TV documentary style. We aim to produce a highly watchable one hour video. If you want three hours of hymns and speaches, please look elsewhere.

Presentation
As standard we supply three copies of the finished film on DVD or VHS. DVDs and tape lables are colour printed and supplied in presentation cases ready to take pride of place in your video collection.

For sample images from previous productions, see the 'Examples' section on this site or call and request a demo video or DVD.

Things to bear in mind
Not all wedding venues allow recording. If this is the case we can still produce a pleasing result. For example a vicar may not allow a video camera, but may allow sound recording. In addition, any musicians may request an additional fee for being recorded. Copyright may exist in music and clearance may be required. We can co-ordinate all these requirements on your behalf.
